NEW CERAX  Two-Sided Whetstone is a versatile whetstone for household use. Also, perfect for those who want to have minimum must-haves. Storage cases for CERAX products can be used as a handy water tank for sharpening and suitable for household use. Please try our products for your various knives from kitchen knives, carpenter’s tools to hatchet.

Grit 280 is ideal for quick adjustment of the edge. Grit 1500 is perfect for medium sharpening and finishing for household use. A handy whetstone for who's who want to get a quick mending for blunt knives.

These are recommended for those who do not have a whetstone or those who have a whetstone but do not have a rough whetstone.

However, this whetstone alone is not sufficient, so after sharpening with this whetstone, sharpen with a finishing stone #3000 or higher for a better finish.

This whetstone is soft and absorbs water, so please soak it in water before use. This whetstone does not discolor even after being soaked in water for a long time and is easy to use.

It is suitable for stainless steel kitchen knives as well as Japanese kitchen knives because it produces good sharpening mud.

こちらの砥石は#1500と#280の両面砥石で中砥石と荒砥石のコンビになっています。2種類の砥石を買う手間と費用を抑えられるのでおすすめです。

包丁を研ぐ際にはまず荒砥石は必ず必要だと思うので、現在 砥石を持っていない方や砥石は持っているけど荒砥石を持っていないという方にはまずこちらをおすすめします。
しかしこの砥石一つでは不十分なので、この砥石で研いだあと#3000以上の仕上砥石で仕上るとより良い仕上がりになります。
こちらの砥石は吸水性の柔らかめな砥石なので使う前に水に浸けてから使ってください。また長時間水に浸しても変質しない使いやすい砥石になっています。
研ぎ泥もしっかり出るのでステンレス系の刃物はもちろん、和包丁にも向いています。
